Here’s to 2017

Guess you thought I was gone for good, didn’t you? Let me correct myself before you do, and tell you that I’m aware that you probably didn’t care or even noticed that this page went dark since summer.

The second half of 2016 was a whirlwind of changes, being unemployed, then getting employed, and then moving in to my office. Having been in a relationship and figuring out what that means to a restless soul like myself. I stayed in NYC over the holidays and attempted to recreate Norwegian Christmas – that was a nerve-wracking joyride. And getting published in Elle. Yes, my pictures are featured in Elle Magazine! When adding graduation and all the other stuff I’ve been up to, 2016 was a hell of a year.

I’ve had some times where I just had to stop and wonder – how can life possibly get any crazier or move faster, and then somehow it does. I get a notification to write every Wednesday, and I’ve kept thinking, oh I’ll just do it later or tomorrow, and it’s now almost 6 months since my last post. I need to adopt Hamilton’s mindset and start writing like I’m running out of time, because essentially, we all are.

I have a bunch of exiting posts in store for 2017, including all the fun stuff I never published last year. Can you image – 2016 is last year already! This year will be filled with more pictures of fun stuff and less pictures of me trying to pretend like I’m a model or something. Working in social media has taught me that I want to differentiate myself in a way where people come to my blog to read what I have to say instead of just looking at the pictures of me. I’m more than a photoshopped face.

I wish each and every one of you a happy 2017 – and stay tuned for a bunch of fun stuff coming your way from here!
