If there is one day that’s more uninspiring than Mondays, it’s Tuesday. The week has started, maybe you’re off to a great start, but then it hits you – it’s only Tuesday. Being as uninspired by this day as ever, I decided to allow myself to be inspired by the beauty around us. Some people argue that Manhattan is beautiful, I would too, if I didn’t live here. There is only so much grey and foggy one can take before longing for more colorful surroundings.
I have been thinking about the movie The Devil Wears Prada all day, and as there is no time to watch it, I decided to rather allow Demarchelier to inspire me today. For those of you who have seen the movie might remember the lines; “Now get me Demarchelier” “I have Patrick”. For those of you who have no idea who Demarchelier is, let me enlighten you! He is a photographer born in Le Havre, France, who is most famous for his stunning editorial shoots. His pictures are iconic and several large brands thrive to have him shoot their campaigns.
Take a look at these pictures, and then imagine how many people that were involved in making them come to life – the designer & team, stylist & team, photographer, editor, assistants etc. A large group of people collaborated on these images so that we could feel inspired on a grey Tuesday as today.
