First of all I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and a sparkly, glittery and spectacular New Years Celebration. I chose to spend the holidays with family rather than my Mac, so I apologize for the late update.
I can’t believe we’re in 2013 already. If this is the speed the years are going to be passing now, I’m not sure if I want to “grow up”. I like having my endless countdowns for different occasions. Like my birthday. Today it is exactly 204 days until I’m turning 20 years old. That‘s crazy.
I have been kind of distant lately as I have feared leaving New York. Right now, I am sitting in Canton, Michigan with my cousins who are exhausted from yesterdays festivities. Our New Years Celebration wasn’t spectacular and for the first ever I didn‘t seen any fireworks, other than the party poppers we had inside. Our last meal of the year was enjoyed at an Italian restaurant in Plymouth. After dinner, we went to my cousins friends place and watched the ball drop at Times Square. I have no words of how strange it was to watch Times Square on TV, when I was there for like a couple of days ago.
Even though I am kinda in a depressing mood these days, there are quite a lot things to look forward to this year. The first thing being my return to New York before going back to Norway. And then seeing my friends and family in Norway. And I have no idea where I’ll end up going to school this fall. It‘s nerve wrecking, yet exciting. I have all options open!
So do you guys have New Years Resolutions? Other than being healthy, exercising and being organized? I have only one: to not have new years resolutions and rather enjoy every single minute of the day.
