Washington DC

I can’t believe we’re halfway in the semester already. This was marked by a class trip to Washington DC. We travelled by bus on Saturday morning, had one stop in Delaware, and after a 4-hour long journey, we arrived in the capital of the United States. The exploration of the capital started with a visit to The National Mall, a memorial sites for several occasions in the country (The Korean War, Abraham Lincoln, World War II).

To our great surprise, Westin Georgetown, was a beautiful 4-star hotel with several useful amenities that we never got the chance to explore.  The first thing we did when arriving in our room was of course to attack the bed. Did we fall asleep? No! We jumped on the bed, and the side that we initially landed on would be the side we would be sleeping on.

Anyways, the pictures explains the story of our trip, and they include The White House, Memorials, food amongst other things!
