The Avengers. A highly anticipated movie for several years. The expectations were sky high, but did the director Joss Whedon really deliver?

The movie showed the best sides of some of our favorite superheroes, the discussions in the trailer between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers (Captain America) are perfect examples of that. The useless discussions and childish comments makes the movie entertaining by being the cherry on top of a great superhero-action movie. Some of the priceless quotes, other than the headline are:

Tony Stark: When they come, and they WILL come, they’ll come for you.
Loki: I have an army.
Tony Stark: We have a Hulk.
Loki: I thought the beast had wandered off…

Another one is:

Thor: He’s my brother
Natasha Romanoff: He killed 80 people in 2 days
Thor: …He’s adopted

One big “minus” for the movie is the fact that the storyline is more or less identical to the one of Transformers 3. Otherwise the fight scenes, the alien army with glasses and the exploding cars in NYC made just another Marvel-lous movie.

The movie can be recommended to everyone with a love for superheroes, and for those who don’t. It’s an entertaining movie from first to last minute, and if you don’t buy the superhero fuss, you surely will enjoy the wicked sense of humor.

Highly recommended!
